I discovered my love for animals at a young age, but my journey to become a dog trainer began in 2017 at the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation. I realized what could be possible when the human-canine bond is combined with real-world needs, and it sparked an unstoppable passion within me. I proceeded to seek out opportunities that allowed me to learn from trainers who are masters in their fields.
The Italian word Sentire has many meanings: to feel, to understand, to seek out using the senses. I founded Sentire LLC in 2018 with a focus on canine detection work, and it has since grown to encompass the needs of pet owners as well. The harmonious combination of art and science is what fuels my passion in my work with dogs.
My training prioritizes the relationship between you and your dog. I will help you nurture your bond and find a common language for clear communication. We will lay the foundation of trust, clarity, and confidence in your relationship with one another.
My training facility is based in Turlock, conveniently located in the Central Valley of California.
I'm proud to be a Training Without Conflict Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a member of the Sentire K9 training team. I have loved training and playing with dogs all my life.
I have a background as a professional competitive horse show jumping rider and coach, which gives me insight into competitive sport dog training, handler coaching, and competing. I have two of my own Ot Vitosha Malinois that I train for the sport of IGP.
I especially enjoy the process of teaching dog handlers the importance of gaining mutual respect and creating harmony between themselves and their K9 companions. I guide clients with a training plan that is in line with their goals and capabilities.
I am currently accepting clients in Napa Valley and the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
